VISION

It is our vision to provide an effective community service by raising awareness amongst schools, tertiary institutions, churches and the community at large of the consequences of rape, incest and domestic violence.

OBJECTIVES

Our overall objectives include: To provide immediate support after trauma so that the healing process can start immediately. To help survivors overcome trauma and become healthy, whole, functional people. To facilitate safe sharing of experiences and to find healing in support. To empower survivors of rape and abuse to prevent re-victimisation and break the cycle of violence To raise awareness in the community on the consequences of sexual violence and the services we provide. To equip volunteers with knowledge and effect capacity building of Rape Crisis Helderberg. To sustain our established safe house.
